OMG! We Have a Blog!
Who saw that coming? 😂
You may only know me from somewhere else or have seen something I have created in passing. Or you have no idea who I am at all, which is most likely. So, let's talk about me and this blog.
My name is Erin. I have been conducting paranormal investigations for about 25 years now. I am a skeptical believer, which may sound confusing. Basically, I believe in ghosts (even though it may appear sometimes that I actually don't), but I am very skeptical of the evidence that is presented to me. I am also very skeptical of my evidence, as any investigator should be. I have never declared any place I investigated to be haunted. I gather evidence and check it over, usually asking for outside thoughts and opinions as well, and then try to figure out what mundane thing could have caused this. Do I have evidence I can't explain? Yes.
This blog is a sister site to my YouTube channel, which should be linked on the left side. The two pages will not always correspond. Some things are better in video form, some are better written.
But this blog will contain something for everyone who interested in the paranormal, I hope. Tips and tricks for your own investigations, little thought of things, location histories, spooky stories, anything that has to do with the paranormal, really.
Just so you know, my main paranormal interest is ghosts. So if your main interest is cryptids or aliens or anything like that, you may find this page lacking. I have absolutely nothing against those topics, they are just not my personal area of focus.
You also will not find drama topics here. There is always drama in the online paranormal community, and there is always a hot topic that gets covered to death. We're not doing that here. If it has been beaten to death anywhere else, I will do my best to not beat it further here. I will not tell people what investigators to watch or not watch, I will not be calling anyone out. It isn't what I do. There are plenty of good debunkers on YouTube and elsewhere, I don't need to throw my hat into that ring. But I do want to keep people grounded and hopefully give people an idea of what investigations are actually like, how to prepare for them, how to conduct them, and what to watch out for.
So, let's have some fun. Some things I write here may eventually end up on my YouTube channel. But I have always preferred writing to filming, so we'll see. I like to do everything by the seat of my pants, that is how I work best!
